Water Intoxication: How much is too much?

(WXIA) After the tragic death of a Douglas County High School football player, some are asking is there such thing as drinking too much water?

The rule-of-thumb for an average adult is thought to be eight 8-ounce cups of water a day to maintain normal bodily functions.

According to Mayo Clinic, the amount of water an individual consumes a day depends on varying factors. If you're someone who exercises each day, is pregnant or breastfeeding or lives in a hot or humid climate, you need to consume more than eight cups per day.

Jones Co. water main break causes low water pressure

A water main break has caused City of Gray residents to experience low water pressure Thursday.

According to water superintendent Russ Dormond, crews were on the scene and were working to build water levels back up Thursday afternoon.

Gray Mayor Stephen Tingen's Facebook page update said a "contractor hit a 12in water main on Bill Conn." Thursday around 12:30 p.m. via a Facebook status, he said crews had to initially shut off water in the area of the water main break.
