The execution of Jones County triple murderer Brandon Rhode is
scheduled to die at 7 p.m. today. That's after a series of delays last
week.
The state's Supreme Court Friday delayed, for three more days, the execution of Rhode.
Rhode was scheduled to be executed by lethal injection at 7 p.m. Friday.
But around 4:30 p.m., the Georgia Supreme Court granted a temporary stay of execution until at least 4 p.m. today.
It came on a 6-1 vote, with Presiding Justice George Carley dissenting.
