Come join us for the 23rd Annual Dinner on December 5 at Healy Point Country Club!  This is always and wonderful and fun event for our members.  Awards for Volunteer/Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Student of the Year, and Teacher of the Year will be given out during dinner.  Paul Holmes will be our speaker for the evening and we expect a great event! CGTC to Hold Open House, Ribbon Cutting at Adult Ed Center

Central Georgia Technical College holds an open house and ribbon cutting at the new Adult Education Center in Jones County Thursday.

According to a release, that ribbon cutting and open house is at 2 p.m. at 304 Old Clinton Road.

On Thursday, September 12, Central Georgia Technical College will hold an open house and ribbon cutting at its new Jones County Adult Education Center located at 304 Old Clinton Road in Gray at 2 p.m. The new center is located in the Older American Council building. President of the College, Dr. Ivan Allen and local officials will be on hand.

The center will be staffed with two full time instructors, a teaching assistant and volunteers.

Classes started in the new location Monday, September 9. Adult basic education and adult secondary education, otherwise known as GED prep classes will be offered. English as a Second Language classes will be offered in the future.
