Gray Third Grader Wins Fire Safety Poster Contest
Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens presented awards Thursday recognizing winners of the annual “Excellence in Fire Safety” awards, and the winning students of the statewide Fire Safety Poster and Essay contests, according to a Georgia Department of Insurance news release.
Third-grader McKenzie Simpson of Dames Ferry Elementary School won first place in the Fire Safety Poster Contest.
The award presentation took place in Forsyth, Ga. in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Month.
