Gordon resident shoots, kills Baldwin Co. man after confrontation | Crime
The man shot to death Thursday night in Gordon has been identified as Taurus Javon Lewis, 37, of Baldwin County.
Gordon police Chief Mike Hall said Lewis was shot after a confrontation outside of a home at 110 Burney Road.
Hall says Jeffrey King, 29, who lives at the house, told police Lewis got out of a car and approached him with a gun.
King then fired several times killing Lewis.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Lewis on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a Georgia Bureau of Investigation news release.
Hall said no charges have been filed against Lewis and the shooting is still under investigation.
