The rain may have put a slight damper on a downtown Christmas celebration in Gray, but organizers say the show will go on Saturday night.

Main Street Gray kicked off a series of events on Atlanta Road, Saturday.

Christmas elves provided activities for kids, such as face painting and balloon animals.

Downtown shops provided discounts for customers.

Come join us for the 23rd Annual Dinner on December 5 at Healy Point Country Club!  This is always and wonderful and fun event for our members.  Awards for Volunteer/Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Student of the Year, and Teacher of the Year will be given out during dinner.  Paul Holmes will be our speaker for the evening and we expect a great event!   • Twin Oaks Fun Farm, Monroe County. Features pumpkins and a corn maze. 
  • Our Cotton Pickin' Christmas Tree Farm, Hawkinsville. Check their Facebook page for updates.Pick your own pumpkin from the patch. Also enjoy cider or cocoa on the porch while the kids climb the hay mountain. Open 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
