Couponing is growing everyday! Everyone wants to save money and one way to do that is by clipping coupons. One thing you have to keep in mind is being realistic with your coupons or more than likely you won’t get the most positive outcome. It’s a lot easier to learn to coupon in person, look for local workshops around your community, not to mention it is more fun to learn with others.

One thing that is important when learning to coupon is to know the cycles of sales. In most areas, a cycle is approximately six weeks long. When you see an item at a rock bottom price, buy enough to last you six weeks so that you don’t have to go back in between and pay the higher price. For an example: this would work for cereal. You could buy a box of cereal for $4.50 a box every six weeks and you’re out $27. OR Buy six boxes of cereal at their rock bottom price and use coupons. Pay only $9 total for six boxes of cereal. You save $18 by purchasing them at the right time and stocking up.
