The 31st annual Old Clinton War Days will be held in Old Clinton, Georgia, Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6.
Authentic camps open to the public beginning at 10:05 a.m. each day featuring period demonstrations and walking tours of the area. Food and hand crafted items will be available for purchase. A narration of battle history begins at 1:35 p.m. each day.
On Saturday, the Battle of Sunshine Church will be presented at 2:05 p.m., with the closing of the camp at 5:05 p.m. and a free memorial service at the Old Clinton Cemetery at 8:05 p.m.
Sunday features an 11:05 a.m. church service at the McCarthy/Pope House and the Battle of Griswoldville at 2:05 p.m. followed by the closing of the camp at 4:05 p.m.
